I received this email recently from a client. She was a trust leader and torn between leaving her trust, and moving onto an opportunity to lead in an international organisation.
At the point I worked with her, she had been invited to a final formal interview for the post, but she was feeling really torn about whether she was doing the right thing.
She loved her trust and her colleagues and had been living and breathing the trust ethos and values for a number of years. However, this new opportunity was so tempting. It was leading in specialist provisions, in the UK and abroad, and inclusion and SEND made her heart sing.
Coaching allowed her to work out all her conflicting feelings and to gain clarity and insight. She was able to identify the root of the mixed emotions, and was able to analyse the impact of deciding to leave or to stay - both on her own life, and on her trust.
Coaching provided her with the peace of mind to make this life-changing decision when she was offered the job.
I have some places available from September for academy trust executive leaders for next academic year. Please contact me for more information.
